How come you do not have a Paypal button?
We get this one a lot. Suffice to say, if you have not noticed we are different
from most other organizations, I have not been doing a very good job. We are
set apart from the rest. You will not see a large (or small for that matter) Paypal
button on any page. Your giving is NOT the most important thing to us. What is
important to us is that you believe in what we are trying to accomplish and
joining our efforts. Then, it is a simple matter of sitting down and writing a pray
about it being what you are supposed to do. We NEVER want people to use a
credit card to give to us. You should never go into debt to give. That is
something we strongly believe in and are not going to change. We also do not
like the concept of Paypal. We have given a great deal of thought to this.
There are fees involved so one cannot say 100% of your gift is used if 100% of
your gift is subject to a fee - RIGHT? Our business account does not charge
fees and, to date, we spend more than we take in (not on credit - we do not use
check. We want you to think about what you intend to do and we want you to a
credit card - fees) because we (Bev and I) cover shipping costs. Are we
receiving as many funds? If our goal was fund raising, we would go hungry -
LOL. We are looking for supporters.
