Meet some very enterprising young ladies!
This is Lindsey and Lauran. They are beautiful 8 year old
twin sisters and a true blessing from GOD. Lindsey heard
about what we are doing in Haiti and wanted to help.
Lindsey told her mom, Mendi, that she wanted to sell rocks
and give the money to HaitisBabies. Little did she know
the impact of that one statement. Mendi knew better than
to discount her daughters statement and prayed about it.
Then the idea came as an answered prayer, they were to
paint on the rocks. They got all excited and Lauran
wanted in too so, off to Walmart mom took them to buy
some paints. You never know what you are about to do is
of GOD or just some hoped for idea then, GOD shows up
and leaves no doubt. In the craft section, all the paints
were on clearance ranging from $0.25 to $0.75 so Mendi
bought them out. GOD is definitely into clearance sales!!!
Since that time, the girls have been asking their mom to
paint rocks and have their first master pieces which have
been sold as far as I know. Their older sister, Ashley, has
jumped on board as well and has painted two rocks to date.
Not to be outdone, their dad jumped in as well with some
great ideas which we will implement soon.
